Snoop Dogg se met au reggae

On connaissait déjà le goût de Snoop Dogg pour les incartades hors des sentiers battus du hip-hop, et plusieurs indices laissent à penser que son prochain projet sera reggae.
Au début du mois, le rappeur américain annonçait ainsi que le groupe californien punk-rock-reggae Slightly Stoopid et surtout Stephen Marley l’accompagneraient dans sa tournée d’été, le « Blazed and confused tour », pour une vingtaine de dates aux Etats-Unis.
On apprend aujourd’hui que Snoop, épaulé par la famille Marley, a déjà enregistré plusieurs titres reggae dans son studio, en prévision d’un album entièrement dédié au genre.
Ce projet reste cependant une initiative personnelle et n’impliquerait pas le label Columbia qui doit sortir "Malice in wonderland", le 10ème album solo de Snoop, en septembre prochain.
