MOBO Awards, les lauréats

Le cru 2007 des Music of Black Origin Awards, qui se tenaient à Londres le week end dernier, a désigné son vainqueur : Kanye West rafle le prix du meilleur artiste hip hop et du meilleur clip.
En reggae, c'est le poupon Sean Kingston qui emporte la mise.
Quasiment inconnu par chez nous, ce jeune artiste de 17 ans, petit-fils du producteur Jack Ruby ne pouvait rêver meilleure publicité avant la sortie de son premier album en France le 1er octobre. Il est déjà précédé de ses deux hits : Beautiful girls (sur un sample de Stand by me de Ben E King) et Love me (sur une reprise du D'yer Mak'er de Led Zep), deux singles qui seront sur l'album.
Il était opposé à Tony Matterhorn, Collie Buddz, Sean Kingston, Shaggy et Stephen Marley.
